Great lunch time specials around the city?
Hi fishes,
Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC. Now I got interviewed again with TCS and cleared all the rounds but they are not reactivating my ibegin portal for document upload since I rejected them last year...in this way u think they will never ever reactivate my profile.

I'm currently living this reality. I didn't move for my job, I just wanted to get out of my home state and try living somewhere new. I've been doing it for 8 years now and the homesickness is really starting to get to me. I don't have much of a social circle here (it's hard making friends as an adult) and I'm souring on my company. I'm starting to apply to jobs closer to my old home with the plan to move back as soon as I can. I'm glad I moved and experienced it, but I'm ready to go home.
I have a friend who moved for their work and they consider it the best move they've ever made. So it can work both ways. My friend says she would have been stagnating in her hometown. And with all the communication today, it doesn't really matter too much where she is, she can do a video call with her mother whenever she wants. She visits on holidays and for special events, and she's happy with that. But, if you're really miserable in a new place, you probably should go back, no point in being unhappy.
I have moved for a sales job and know how isolating that can feel. It’s a real challenge when you’re away from your support system. What helped me was setting a timeline to evaluate the move, giving myself permission to reassess after 6-12 months. I also made efforts to build a social circle locally and balance work with hobbies. If the loneliness outweighs the financial gains, it’s okay to reevaluate your priorities and consider moving back or somewhere with a better support network.
I moved for my job years ago. It was tough living to a city and state in which I knew no one. It took time for me to settle in but it did turn out to be the best thing I ever did. I left the job years ago but I still live in the city and state that I moved too
