Is it SAFE joining Wipro as technical lead (B3) with 37LPA? Knowing that package is pretty high as compared to collogues in same band. HR is not ready to give project manager(C1) position.

These agencies are already interviewing by the time they post. Posting is a legal technicality they need to do so they don’t get sued for nepotism
Yeah for visas 100%, for a job in Europe I had to run a newspaper ad for 6 weeks for my own job to get sponsored. We made it comically specific. (I’m American)
In general, creative agencies don't hire through places like LinkedIn or other job posting sites.
First, they are constantly receiving portfolios from creatives.
Second, it's a small industry and since a good portfolio can be faked, most agencies put a lot of stake in personal referrals. So, you have a much better chance if you know someone in the agency.
Third, if they don't find good creatives the first two ways, they generally use a headhunter.
The main takeaway here should be, that as a creative, you should not rely on LinkedIn (or other job posting sites). Focus on keeping in touch with other creatives. Reaching out to ones you haven't met yet. And connect with a headhunter or two.
The creative side of advertising just doesn't hire the way most jobs do.
I’ve worked at both agencies. Recruited by one, through a friend for the other.
That’s discouraging ☹️
Email the recruiter. I used to work there and they are great at responding.
They never post jobs. They find you or get internal references.
At places like those, it’s so much easier to just reach out to current employees who have insider info. I’ve personally never seen any job postings for Mother on Linkedin or their site either
@ECD1 (or anyone):
Seeing a job on LinkedIn (or similar site) makes sense that it’s already too late, but what about openings posted directly on the agency’s careers page?
Does that follow the same guideline that they are just posting it for legal technicality and realistically they already have a quality candidate pool of behind the scenes candidates before the role even goes public?
Also is it any different for non-creative roles or is it all the same racket?
I work at one of these and the job wasn’t posted, but I was recruited
Wow, so they literally won't let any outsider in.
