Free use of the printer to print your resumes and find another job in this shitty market
Yes. If we work one weekend we are free to work as many other weekends as we want. It’s pretty great!!!
My CD let me take a day off (off the books-hush hush-day off) per day spent working on a weekend. It was nice. Until they fired her. She was a great boss.
Demand comp time.
I second this. They give comp time at my agency, but you have to ask for it and have a good reason why.
The Richards Group does but good luck having time to take it off. Fyi, I don't work there anymore.
That’s hilarious.
I’ve received recognition days
Nope. They don’t ask any questions if you stop billing after you hit 40 hours though. Sometimes I just leave early on a Friday if I’m not busy.
Are you supposed to log your true hours or stop at 40?
Yep, it’s called OT or double OT in the world of freelance. 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Yeah, there are actually regulations about how many days you can work in a row (in nyc) atleast. At my agency if you work weekends you can request a Comp Day (But you have to be informed enough about working regulations to know to ask for one, those who don't ask don't get one). You should also be billing the hell out of your hours because this is ultimately an allocation problem - either your company is unaware that they are under allocating hours (bc people are afraid to report true hours) or the company is aware and is taking advantage of you, and potentially breaking the law. Goodluck!
Associates who earn under a certain salary are required to earn OT, so yes if you’re junior
