Dear Amdocs Hiring Team, Thanks for the worst experience. You guys took almost 2 months for hiring process, asked for all the documents, even shared the CTC breakup over email and at last after multiple follow ups over calls and emails, you replied by stating that "Unfortunately , we are not moving ahead with your candidature at moment." When I asked the reason, you are clueless till now what to say? You guys even don't have enough courage to respond my calls. #Amdocs #Hiring
My final round with Deloitte for UK Tech Consulting Manager position soon. Strangely it’s not a PMD round as it usually is for other Big4/tech consulting firms.
1. Can anyone tell me if they’ve been through the whole process without speaking to PMD? (First round Sr Manager, second Case Interview by a manager and third again by a manager) 2. What is a typical salary to expect? I was asked in screening but kept it vague (e.g can discuss later bla bla). I was hoping 75-80 (ridiculous?)

How I’m feeling today..

Hi fishes! I volunteer with The Art of Good, a creative collective helping small businesses affected by the pandemic. They are seeking a little help from a media professional. Need an SEM POV for a small business looking to change their name and relaunch their brand. This is non-paid. More about giving back while in-between gigs. :) If you can help out or want to learn more, please reach out to me via LinkedIN. Thank you!! www.linkedin.com/in/karenkohn/

No. They care whether or not you've worked at Wieden+Kennedy.

Not a recruiter but an part of the hiring panels for my clients — *not* regularly posting on LinkedIn is a better sign.
I assume you are actually doing work versus PR’ing yourself.
I stopped interviewing at an agency after I researched the CD I’d be working for and discovered he was was posting to LinkedIn 3-4 times a day.
If you have time to do that, you’re probably not all that busy with real work. Also the posts were just dumb, childish “hot takes” on other people’s work and the industry at large.
His posts told me that he was inexperienced, immature and the agency was irresponsible by putting someone like that in charge. It wasn’t just a bad look for him, it was a bad look for the agency as a whole.
This is what recruiters should be worried about.
My guy (or gal), it's not about posting, it's about increasing your visibility. Want your profile to get served to recruiters more often? Be more active on the platform.
This is the answer.
Recruiter here - I don’t care one bit.
How are most resumes making it to your desk today? Employees referral, web submission? Searching LinkedIn?
It’s good to share new work you’re proud of help you stay top of mind for recruiters

Most only care about awards, resume and actual work in the portfolio.
But I’ve seen some people pump themselves up by becoming LinkedIn influencers
If you’re *any type* of professional (talking white collar) and can help a specific audience through your content - why would you not want to share tips, guidance, lessons, etc with them?
The idea of “if you’re posting on LinkedIn you’re not working” is a totally false and limiting belief. Makes zero sense.
This is coming from someone who’s been on the hiring and want-to-get-hired side.
Posting on LinkedIn to display your expertise is not only a net-positive for the company you work for, but as a long-term investment in your career, too.
