Yes, its decorated. It makes me happy and I'm a high performer. To some degree I dont care what others think.
My office area is completely devoid of any decoration except for a single picture of one of my pet rabbits. I try to keep my workspace as minimalistic as possible but really it's all preference since most of my coworkers have decorated their sections with family pictures, memorabilia, etc.
When I was in the office I had pictures of my children and my husband and I, my own lamp. When you spend the majority of your waking hours in a place, make it as happy as you can. You can be minimal and tasteful but still personal. My work speaks for itself. People are going to judge eachother regardless, it's a them problem if they need to critique having pictures of my children.
Working from home I just make sure my space is clean behind me when on video calls.
I learned to not decorate an office. You could go anytime. I do, however have plants.
Yes our office is decorated :)
Depends on what you mean by "decorated"? I have a nice desk plant, a photo of my children and one vase-looking thing for my pens and stuff. It's tasteful but minimal, does that count as "decorated"? I'm not like changing out the decor for holidays
My last office was decorated. I worked for a non-profit and had to bring in my own desk chair, rug, and seating for patient consultation. I hung pictures and had a candy dish for when other employees came in. I was the only provider in the office, and didn't feel any less respected. If I am somewhere more than I am home I want to be comfortable in that space.
Nope, because of reasons of this current job not having a lot of humane traits. Everyone is always at the edge of they're seat many ppl do decorate but the only thing I have is a fan because it's always hot, but I rather not loose money because of it
It is totally up to you. I enjoy interior design, so I’ve decorated my office.
Decorate! If someone judges you- that’s their problem!
