Yes every day. But eh.. what can I do about it? 🤷🏻‍♂️ just gotta live my life anyways

I never ever take my adderall. I also never take caffeine. Only time I take caffeine is if I want to indulge myself with Starbucks or a Coke.

I fully believe in living with adhd and learning to work with it and not fighting it. Meds and caffeine are a piss poor way to go about it. Personally I’d remove it entirely. Especially the caffeine

funny

I would consider Ritalin or Strattera as alternatives to Adderall. They work just as well if not better.

Comforting others:
When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. I was taken aback recently when a friend told me I am calloused and cold-hearted for not being able to say those words. Is she right? Should I start saying this for the purposes of providing comfort only??

It’s looking like my job is gonna start asking us to return to the office. We have an open office plan and before we wfh FT I would save all my work for my telework days bc I can’t get shit done in the office. I’m having major anxiety about them making this decision. I know I’m not alone that people don’t want to return to the office. My ADHD and the open office just makes working from the office a nightmare and I’m feeling really nervous and kind of resentful.

Anyone else have a need to exercise daily? A lot of people judge me in a negative way and in reality it is because my ADHD brain needs it. 1) the consistency for schedule 2) exercise can help tone down the symptoms before I sit down for the work day 3) it is the only thing I can control to make it look like I am not a mess (disorganization, interrupting) - basically trying to stay in the game at work based on perception of “having it together”. Just wondering if anyone faces the challenges.

I just realised it now. My doctor has suggested treating depression (I was also unaware of this) with Wellbutrin first (contd)
