Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?
Happy friday ya'll

The federal agency? No, you apply via USAJobs and there are no referrals for federal jobs.
What's your motivation for applying to USAID?
Coolio. If it’s for “helping people” and all that jazz just be aware a large portion of USAID’s remit is often to weaken and ruin developing countries, rather than help them.
Do you have experience working with USAID? I’ve been a USAID contractor for a few years and if you haven’t yet had exposure to what it’s like to work with / for them, I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend talking to some people with that experience. As someone who has worked with several federal agencies, USAID is by far the most bureaucratic and difficult to work with.
Absolutely! Just to be clear, I don’t work AT USAID, I just work for a USAID contractor. But happy to share my insights on what it’s like.
No but USAID is highly competitive, especially at an oconus location.
Shocking. I thought US based positions would be most competitive
