Do you regret the amount of loans borrowed for law school?

I've been accepted into 1 T30 school (which would lead to approx $160K debt) and 1 T100 school (approx less than $100K debt).

I would prefer to attend the T30 school for several reasons, including that it is in the area I plan to practice in; however, the high debt is making me reconsider. I've also been waitlisted at other schools but at this point, expecting no scholarship/aid should I gain admission. Any advice would be helpful!

Hi fishes, what’s the impact of an online MBA in the Energy industry?

Has anyone heard of graduate programs for studying blockchain either directly or as a focus of some other program? I’ve seen university of Malta has a program that can be tailored between IT, Business, or Law. But I’m worried it may be a bit too specific.

How necessary is an extracurricular for MBA apps? I work a ton of hours and don’t have a lot of time or interest in any activity that I could reasonably put on an app. I spend the little free time I have on activities I enjoy (spending time with SO and friends, working out, Netflix, etc). Would it be really bad if I had nothing in that section on my app beyond college extracurriculars? Or should I force some activity? I have enough time before I apply to make it look legit to adcoms.

How do you engage your students in more reading outside of what is required in the classroom? With each passing year I am finding an ever shrinking population of students, including honors students, who actually read beyond what is posted in social media or video games. Students willingly volunteer that they do not read and most parents see it as a non-issue. I tell my students that the best readers are usually the best writers. For me, it's that you are in charge of your own career and no one cares about it like you do. Ask for what you want and make your own opportunities. Doing great work is a good first step, but it's not enough to really build the career you want.
