For me, it's that you are in charge of your own career and no one cares about it like you do. Ask for what you want and make your own opportunities. Doing great work is a good first step, but it's not enough to really build the career you want.

I’m a bit rough around the edges and I think this is severely hindering my abililty to connect with people in my department and civilians. What are some good ways to break out of this and develop my people skills?

If one is looking to get into the org development or human capital space, what positions should I look up? Masters degree and some part time experience here!

Is an Associates in Human Resource worth it? What are some tips for climbing the corporate ladder ? 🙂
