Do you think that the economy would be better off if the government focused on decreasing debt? I know that debt creates leverage but governments seem to use that as an excuse to spend like there’s no tomorrow

Sure, that's a good basic principle. Let's reduce debt. So what do we cut? Or, how about we have the very wealthy pay their fair share of taxes? Yeah, good luck with that. They bought the government and especially the courts just to prevent that from happening.

I’ve slowly started drinking less and less. And the less I’m drinking the more I realize just how much of my time revolved around alcohol. From going to get it, to drinking it to fighting hangovers. Now I realize I need something to fill all that time with. Especially now that I’m not spending all day saturday and sunday deathly hungover. I go for walks and run errands…but in a shock to me…there’s still a lot of time left. How did you start spending your time once you stopped drinking?
