Does anyone else have difficulty getting interviews/offers via direct applying? Last time I was looking for a job, I ended up getting a few offers and only 1 was a company I applied for directly. The rest were via recruiter.

What happens if I fail to clear client interviews multiple times? Will they terminate me?
Its been a month i have joined and not able to clear the client interview 😞.

I have given interview in LTI on 20th August which was pull campus so L1,L2 and HR all three rounds over on same day and I was told in HR round only that you are Final Selected. I got documents submission mil on 22nd August and I submitted it, But till now(2nd September) I have not got any mail for offer letter. How much time it will still? Can anyone help me on this?

If you make it to senior manager at big four can you leave and become partner or director at mid size firm? Is this hard to do? I am contemplating a move to industry working at a VC, Tax Director role east coast. Looks like it will be primarily overseeing compliance with some aspect of advising on structures etc. There is another tax reporting head above me.

The potential comp is the low 200k with a 10% bonus (still higher than what I am making). I feel this is pretty low for VC standards but maybe my standards are also too high. I have generally seen 25% bonus with carry.

Any thoughts?
