Does anyone else lose their mind over "I'll know it when I see it"?

I'm trying to calculate how many hours I waste on revisions because clients can't visualize what they want until I've already built the wrong thing.

I spend days on a interfaces based on their "vague description," only for them to kill it in 5 seconds.

Honest question: How do you bridge the gap between what a client says ("Make it pop") and what they actually mean? Do you just rely on Pinterest, or is there a better way

Any book recommendations for soft skills at an agency/studio? For stuff like giving feedback, meetings, presentations, client interaction, etc.

I would love to work at Microsoft. Currently hold a TS clearance, 4.5 years in project management, bachelor’s degree in Business. Applied now to hopefully have my resume in the system but would like to stay here at Booz at least until the end of Q1 of 2023. There is no scope for doing research. And it is only a handful of product company that has a design team, rest places doesn't even understand what actual Design is. But being in this field, not everyone will get a chance to work with top design driven companies
