I don't work for someone like that, but I'm aware of some local lawyers who seem to spend more time on self-promotion than they could possibly spend doing legal work. It seems like they're always showing up somewhere or putting out a video or sponsoring some local event. It works for them, their public presence brings in a lot of business, but you can't help but wonder what kind of representation their clients actually receive. If you're working for someone like that it might be good to move on, you don't want your reputation to be too wrapped up with that style of doing business.

I had an attorney tell me that I was supposed to do everything so that they could focus on the client and court. The attorney was probably right.
But to answer your question, have you spoke to the attorney, of course, gently? Maybe? Someone who is on social media all may be going through burnout.
Why do you think it’s your job to fix this problem? HR is aware of it. If he was underperforming he would be fired by now. Obviously he is generating money for the firm. I would sit back and wait. They either fix this or if they don’t you start looking for another job.
