I have master degree in graphic designing and have more than 15 years experiences and I am able to speak 3 languages. I have a strong portfolio but when after applying for any graphic position jobs, either I don't hear anything or after the first interview they send me an email saying" thank you for applying but...". is that because I am not native american?! or I don't speak english with american accent?!

A year ago, I got promoted to Art Director, and since our team is pretty small, I’m still very hands-on in terms of designing. I’m currently responsible for creating online advertising, branding and everything that goes into our social media channels (design, not content). I want to ask others Art Directors here, what responsibilities you have. What your day-to-day looks like? I’m still doing everything that I used to do when I was a Lead Designer. Am I missing something?

For those of you who work remotely, does your employer pay for your Adobe CC subscription or is that something you pay for yourself? I’m currently looking for ft remote work and am not sure if that should be considered when looking at salaries.
