Get your CPA regardless of what other accounting credentials you have; it by far pulls the most weight
I have te CIA. Before I got no emails, as soon as I passed, I got at least 1-2 calls a week asking whether I'd consider a position. Definitely worth every penny. CPA is harder in other aspects, but CIA exam was very much application of concepts to real life situations where CPA had more straight forward Qs on the exam
Don't bother taking it as an additional certificate unless you really planning to do internal auditing. You have studied a lot already. Enjoy your life!
I don't have it, but I know it's easier than the CPA. It will be valuable if you are planning to do internal auditing in the future

Yes I was asking as an additional certification to have
I would agree but add that studying for the CIA is not committing too much time...it's easy, just use Gleim.
Won't hurt not to have it, might help a little to get it. Technically, pdub only reimburses your first cert training materials. But I've heard of people getting the second/third covered with partner approval. If the books & exam are covered might be worth it.
I'm currently in the risk assurance group at PwC. That's why I was considering it. Seems more applicable to my current experience
Which group in risk assurance?
It's a good designation and highly respected! Easily attainable too. Though I'll also say that CISA is a great certification too, one exam sitting and you're there. Just depends on what you want for the future.
Process assurance
If you are in PA, go for the CISA
I have CISA. I thought CIA might complement it
That's all you need man. Go enjoy your life lol
