I was recently approached by a recruiter about a position as a litigation attorney at the DOJ. Unfortunately, he didn’t have any more specific information other than what I would be doing is “generally commercial litigation.” Can anyone share insights on what this may entail? Random partner asked a litigation-related question to a partner I frequently work with (i’m a transactional associate). My partner cc’d me and said for me to briefly look. Asked the library. They got me a great case. Sent it back. Now the random partner is asking for more cases in another circuit.

There’s no worst feeling that to be rejected by someone you love. I gave my heart and time to someone I thought felt the same towards me for more than a year. They decided to end the relationship cause they didn’t feel the same, and even though I appreciate the honesty, it hurts a lot!

We use Deloitte India for a number of parts of our delivery. Recently I have seen some unethical practices that violate labor laws and do not align with Deloitte principles. My manager says it isn’t my problem as they are a vendor but I can’t help thinking I have an ethical responsibility to do something. Any advice as to how to approach this without being fired?

I’m in the second last week of my NP I had accepted an offer from PwC, but now I’ve got a good offer from Cogni and I know PwC won’t negotiate the offer or try to match what Cogni is offering, how do I tell PwC that I won’t be joining them?
Is is too late to inform them now?
What should be the right thing as I don’t want to burn bridges with PwC?

I completed all the round TR, PDM and HR round for IBM. Discussed with HR she confirmed the compensation and sent Candidate Information form and BGV form to fill. I have filled and submitted and got some accomodation form and cognitive assesment link. Is this the normal process. Can someone please confirm the steps you followed when selected for IBM.

TCS ghosted me. I cleared 2 rounds of interview and they asked me to update the documents. They are in verified status since 2 weeks. Since then I heard nothing from them. The salary negotiation has not happened yet. I called the HR and got the response like they will get back in a few days.
Anyone knows when will they get back??
