Hi all,
Need help , can anyone let me know if Accenture is giving work from home as of now ? I mean i have been offered, and the HR is telling me to collect the assets from the base location and the policy of dispatching the assets to home location is no more. Now initially it was communicated it will be work from home for at-least 6 months now i am building trust issues to join the organisation.

In NYC mine was taxed at about 47%
Is your question how much money should you expect after deductions? I'd ballpark it around 50%.
The tax isn't 47%. It is withheld at that rate because it is irregular pay, so the withholding tables have to be very conservative. You will get a larger refund next year if that rate turns out to be too high. If you're a new hire, you'll end up with a fairly low annual income, leading to a low tax bracket, and therefore will get an especially large refund...unless you have lots of income from somewhere else, in which case good for you!
Mine was 33% I believe. Philly.
Sorry yeah should have been more clear, PwC pushed back the start date for their new hires but are giving us our signing bonus in July... just wondering how much I'll actually get of it
Don't remember my signing but my year end bonus was taxed about 35-40%.
Well that sucks, was hoping for around 30% or the flat 25% rate but I guess we will make it work. Thanks for the help
I started in August so my bonus came with my regular paycheck and I think I got maybe half of it at the time but got a decent tax return in April. Expect maybe 3/4ths of it at best
Spill the beans. Amount?
I always ask for a bigger raise and smaller bonus do to the 47% tax
When I was there, it was like 45%
Will it be taxed if you receive it before your start date?
It's technically a gift
They take 40 percent
It is definitely not a gift. It will be taxed as income eventually. They will probably withhold taxes even if paid before your start, but if they don't, you'll just owe them when you file.
