Does anyone know if one of the CPA testing accommodations is extended time to finish the exam? I have a disability and I get extremely anxious when taking the exam and I lose my focus and concentration for a long time and that has really affected my performance on the CPA exam. I always run out of time and I haven’t been able to pass any exam. I have attempted FAR 5 times already and never pass of course.

For FAR, what do most people think is a realistic number of modules to get through per day/week while working full time. For me, the hour lectures generally take up to 2-3 weekdays to get through lecture, MCQ, Skills, and Sims. By the time the weekend comes, I’m exhausted and need a break, but this seems too slow.

I failed my first exam and now I am having a difficult time gaining the focus and drive I once hard to study and seat for another… did anyone went through that same thing or similar how did you over come that? I tend to set high expectations for myself and get overwhelm when those expectations are not met… but I’m working on that.

California peeps. I have a feeling I failed FAR, which is my last exam, but my score isn’t released until May 11. Can I submit the reapplication with the CA Board of Accountancy to speed up the retake and NTS process in case I failed? Or do I need to get my exam score first? I need to pass by mid June, else my REG score expires, hence the rush to resubmit the re-application.
