Does anyone know if Protiviti has a wfh allowance that allows new employees to set up their remote office? Accepted an offer with them and trying to see what equipment I’d need. Thanks!

Yes, WFH with optional office days. Travel to client is optional but much less as clients aren’t ready yet. Ive gotten one time WFH budgets and we get to expense wifi/phone up to a certain dollar amount, monthly.

There’s no standard policy on this, and any assigned equipment hits your local market’s cost center. Hence some markets are more generous than others but you generally won’t get more than barebones basics like headset, portable monitor, mouse + keyboard for WFH. Definitely not any sort of furniture allowance.

I’m interested in applying to protiviti! Are they still allowing wfh?

like

Yes, I started virtually and I even brought up to management that I would like to remain mainly virtual (as we’re moving into hybrid). They didn’t have any problem with it and just suggested I show my face when there’s big events and I might be required to go to client sites. I know some people in my office meet and to the office once a week but it’s not required or even expected. I will only go to the office if there’s like an event or interns/new hires joining. Truthfully, I’m more productive at home and I really like my WFH set up so it’s not worth it for me to go into the office frequently.

like

Joined last year - no wfh allowance, but I was provided a catalogue to order headsets, monitors, mice, etc. From what I remember, most of the stuff in the catalogue was pretty low-end, so I ended up spending some of my signing bonus to improve my WFH setup.

My local office HR team provided it to me during onboarding

I started at the beginning of the pandemic and I am still mainly WFH. Upon request, I got a portable monitor and headset. I never got a catalog like someone else mentioned. I just reached out and they sent it to my house with no issue. I have spent additional money to make my home office more comfortable but I started my job knowing I wasn’t going to be in the office anytime soon. In my opinion, if you plan to work mostly from home I would get a nice big monitor and a comfortable chair. It makes the best difference!

Received multiple bonuses in the past 2 years specifically for this, perhaps a number of other responders we're not here during this time or have forgotten the several $1,000 payouts they received.

There are not reimbursement of home office items or ordering from catalogs at this time.

We are still generally work from home with many pushing to get back to office more normally. Our guidance right now is leaving it up to the engagement managers to set the tone and attempting to get teams together. No specific guidance has been outlined.

@AD1 our first stipend was specifically for us to buy stuff that makes our WFH experience easier.

We were offered wfh allowance in 2020. But now that you can go back to the office, they’re not doing that anymore.

It’s good to ask your MDs of that office. I always ask mines and they give me a clear cut answer, which was a no.

I accepted an offer with Protiviti for an Analyst 3 position here in Cincinnati, Ohio starting in 2 weeks. Do they still do WFH?

Hi everyone, I got an offer from Capgemini and the joining location is Pune but my preferred location is Noida. I saw on LinkedIn and other websites that Capgemini is hiring for the same role in NCR as well. Is it possible to get my location changed before joining? I really didn't think it through when I gave an interview for Pune location but my mom has been unwell from past few weeks and I want to stay where I can easily reach her whenever she needs me.

I got selected in LTI, the offered CTC is less than my current CTC, HR says they have budget constraints.

They were aware about my current CTC right from the first call.

I also shared the counter offer that I'm holding. (Offered CTC > Current CTC)
Switch won't make sense if I don't get the basic hike.

How can I convince them to revise my offer? YOE -3.2 yrs
