Hello All,
I have recently joined FIS Global around end of April. My mother recently met with an accident and she needs to be operated.
I haven't been able to update the anything regarding the insurance part yet on FIS portal.
Will my mother's treatment be covered under the insurance? If yes, what's the procedure for the same? What are the documents that I need to submit in order to claim the amount?
Can anyone please guide?

Tech and consulting firms typically have awesome IVF and paid leave benefits. I worked in tech for baby #1, IVF and 12 weeks paid leave. Baby #2 I was in consulting, and IVF was covered and I got 20 weeks of paid leave.

McKinsey has been phenomenal for US standards. All of my IVF was paid for. I believe there’s a $60k fertility benefit, but keep in mind most of the meds are covered under medical anyway, so the only thing that really touches the benefits are appts, labs, and procedures.
Mat leave is about 6 months w the option for longer if you have PTO accrued.
That's excellent!
Most big tech companies have really good policies
I was laid off by multinational a tech giant so I'm weary of working in tech again.
In terms of finance, most big banks offer a minimum of 16 weeks now, a few offer more but 16 seems to be the minimum so that they can stay competitive with each other
To add - I think a lot of them have fertility coverage as well, if you have your insurance through your job rather than your spouse’s.
