Also if I reject, will there be any issue like they won't consider me in future?Tata Consultancy Wipro Cognizant Infosys

A lot of times it is brainpower they pay for. Places that need it the most don't have it and are typically reactionary. The more interesting question is the business model and industry disruption. If I bring in 500k in billables a year, I might only make 200k. The firm takes more than their fair share. The value prop is in cutting out the middleman which saves buyer money and puts more in consultants pocket. Hourlynerd and a Linkedin service, etc - could get interesting
Thing about those clients that are smaller? SMBs. they also need consultants. and they can't afford it, so where are they going? There are other /smaller /boutique consulting companies for that who charge lower rates. There are delivery centers in all BIG4 that will offer clients off shore services for less money. The traveling and high maintenance consultants are for the clients who are willing to pay top dollars. we are not going anywhere!

Also yes they have to pay travel but we are durational, they don't have to pay for healthcare, pension, provide training, deal with you if you're a bad employee, ect. That is a lot of costs they save even though they pay big dollars for our services. If they don't like you, your partner replaces you, easy as that
^ both are correct
To pile on: if they want to save on travel costs, they can also have you be remote some of the time. Let's be honest though, if a company has an issue paying our travel expenses, then we're probably too expensive for them in the first place.
