crwd 4/17 $60 calls... you heard it here first
Hey fishes,
I have given the interview in Hexaware and later on I got the email to fill the CAF form which is also done. Nos it's been 20 days and no call, no e-mail at all! I can see the status as offet pending.
I am on notice period and I have only 1 month remaining.
Is it like, hexaware will release the offer at the end time or something! Because I'm eagerly waiting for the offer as I don't have much time now!

Hi fellow fishies!
Can someone please explain what is “SUPPLEMENTARY allowance” in my payslip??? It is the highest in my entire payslip, more than basic salary. Basic is lets say ₹7 lac annually and supplementary bonus is ₹7 lac 40 thousand.
Can someone please explain why this exists in my paylslip, is it good or bad from tax perspective and shall I ask my HR to decrease it???
Please help asap.

22 for manager on up. Deloitte is 25 for everyone, and has those same 4 day weekends.
They didn't tell you your PTO before you jumped ship?
Deloitte is 30 for managers and up
I took every single day, and no one was anything but encouraging.. but the stuff that matters like expenses, spouse alt travel etc. Are noticeably more restrictive at EY..
EY doesn't make associates go by the title of Assistant
Don’t expect to do that throughout your career; however I don’t worry about vacation time, I take whatever I need to take, I work from “vacation” sometimes etc. I don’t know Deloitte but in our team at EY if you’re getting the job done no one cares where you’re doing it from. I am not micromanaged and my teams are competent. The benefits that matter to me are better than I could ask for.
DT > EY
EY4 we don't have unlimited sick anymore, it's 10 days and no one uses them all since it cuts your utilization
EY has some great benefits including 22 days off 10 holidays 4 day weekends for memorial and labor day and 10 sick days plus 3 personal days
And no one takes all that time, in either firm. Compare the stuff that matters, not whether you’ll get 25 or 30 days off.
I also think Christmas close this year just happened because the weeks lined up correctly. At least that’s what my fiancé, who works for deloitte, said
On extended out of town engagements. Pretty disheartening that everything so far has been a downgrade.. is there anything better to make me feel better ?
Nope. In fact your raises and PBB may be lower, cell phone reimbursements lower. The milestone program will be a good one at Universal but if you are a Staff, you still have a few years. Deloitte asks you to contribute 50% I believe towards your health and wellness, EY asks 25% but the EY limit is $500 not $1k.
Ey’s vacation is essentially the same. 18 days of personal time/PTO and unlimited sick. Deloittes pto is 25 for everything. Sick days here can be pretty much anything health related for you or your spouse or even your dog
Yes to reiterate, vacation days between the 2 are essentially the same. EY gets 15+3+10= 28. Deloitte is 25, with the extra Xmas holiday. And I second EY2 that I find teams much more flexible with EY; I work from home and work remotely on vacation all the time , which matters to me a lot more than flat vacation days or benefits. It means every single week/month is a better working environment for myself , and not just a dollar value of benefits
∆∆ thanks for this, that's good to know.. I have heard a lot about flexibility so good to know they follow through in practice
