Well I recently told a guy I have been seeing I have HSV-2. We have not yet been physical but it’s been heading that direction. Man I hate this part - waiting to see what his response will be after he researches and talks to his doctor. I’m on daily meds which help reduce transmission risk. Having a baby and looking for consulting exit opps. I’ve been in strategy consulting for two years and recently promoted to manager. All projects were in tech or LS. Prior to consulting I have 10 yrs of Pharma experience with a MS in Engineering (non-CS) and data science. Fluent in Python, Ruby and Java but never coded professionally. Spent several years in process engineering and then project management. Interested in tech or digital health. Any advice on companies, roles and levels?

Plan to go to B-school in 3 years (1 year out of UG now). Long term goal is entrepreneurship. Have offers at a MBB firm for a generalist consultant role and at FAANG for a strategy role. FAANG offer is slightly higher (though both are a 50+% bump on my current comp). Both would have me reset to entry level. Which one should I take?

I've been exploring exit opportunities for a few months and still holding out for the right opportunity. However, I've had A LOT of recruiters reach out to me for positions that are way below my current salary. They do the whole "your background and expertise is exactly what we're looking for" then turn around and offer a salary range that is 20k below my current level. My resume clearly says I've got 10yrs experience and an MBA. I **don't think* I should be getting offers of 80k-100k
