Does it make sense for me to file for AOS right now? I have a Canadian passport and I am on H1b but want to quit Deloitte next year and go back to India for a couple of years due to family reasons. Will filing for AOS now mean I will be abandoning my green card petition when I leave. Also AOS will prevent me from getting a TN visa to return.

Vendors keep on asking to join on W2 rather that Corp to Corp although for employees on H1B we cannot join on W2 due to immigration issues.
