Yes they do if it's approved by pml and spml. Reach out to your HR liaison and ask. They will only explain the process
My concern is if they'll actually approve the exception. If you are not a superstar but a good performer.
It's not an exception. They will sponsor as long as your practice is supportive. EB2 is for managers and above. Are you Indian?
Yes I am.
Are you a senior?
Yup!
But not making manager any time soon.
That's not a problem. So when they apply for you, if you've been with the firm at least 18 months and have been rated 2 or above (or are a good performer) and have the support of your practice, they'll apply in EB3. EB2 is dependent on your projected title at time of visa availability and your education. Do you have a masters?
I have a Master's.
Then you'll get the EB2 pretty easily. What're you even worried about the wait time for EB2 and EB 3 for Indians is both ridiculous.
I don't care about EB2 or EB3 as much as getting the process started. I don't want it to be dependent on me making manager or not because that cannot be guaranteed.
The policy says you need to be with the firm for 18 months, be in your second H1, have good performance, and be a manager or be up for promotion as the firm policy now is to apply in EB2.
Have you already started the process? What was your experience?
Yes. Talk to your HR. It's not dependent on the way you think it is.
