Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.
I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.
The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.
Thoughts?

Depends on the context. If you're going in an application form, tend towards including all.
Your YOE should align to the level you're applying for. If you have 15YOE and you're applying to entry level analyst roles, that might be an auto reject. It would also look weird to apply for director level roles with only 2YOE.
I have 6 years enlisted and 6 civilian (three industry and three consulting). Two of my enlisted years were training, so I just say 10yrs. I'm a SM now and anticipating promotion to director this year.
Ah! Thank you! Your breakdown helped a lot! So let’s say I knock off some training time too, let’s say 6 years military. Now if I owned a wealth management business for 5 years, consulting business owners on how to manage their money inside and outside of their business…would that be 5 years “industry experience”?
