How much does the industry matter when exiting to a corporate strategy/M&A role? Got an offer with great scope and good pay but industry isn't what I am interested in.

Its an electronic manufacturer that is moving away rapidly from traditional manufacturing into digital such as IoT.

I recently completed two rounds of Interview,
01 with the hiring managers (Senior Vice President & Vice President) and second was with the Director, the second round happened approx. 2 weeks back, currently my job application status shows as "Business Review" can someone shed a light on what this means and how long does it take for Citi to get back with an answer i.e. am i selected or rejected.

Cleared interview rounds of two companies and put down my paper and now none of them have given offer letter. One of HR is sayibg they will give it on my last working day Another one is not picking up my call. Now I do not have a job in hand.
