Does your attorney want veto power on your physicians? Either way, I’d recommend losing the chiropractor
The chiropractor thing is really just personal advice. Whenever I’ve asked physicians for a candid opinion they’re like - chiropractors are fine if you just like going, but applying body weight force to the spine isn’t really generally accepted treatment for an acute spinal issue.
I’d just be a little wary of attorney-recommended physicians too. I do appeals and have a couple friends who do PI. We joke about some of the docs because they come up so much. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve been doing research on a case and an expert in a case I’m working on is the same one that’s in some random case I’m reading.
Are you in a no fault state? The chiropractor may not be covered under no fault insurance. It may be more of a will this guy be paid under insurance rather than anything else and if he is willing to cooperate with your case
I don’t think California is a no fault state
Wait so your personal injury attorney said they have to approve the neurologist you see? I have not heard of that but like other said it does depend on the state that you are in.
