Hey fishes,
Let’s say Brillio gave some joining bonus and if we are leaving within an year we need to pay it back.
So does it mean I need to put papers after one year or is that okay to put papers after 9 months, so serving 3 months notice makes it one year.
Please let me know if anyone had an idea about this.
Brillio

What sub of PI? if this indeed happened, they can tell anyway so no point hiding. I can confirm in 5 mns after you say what sub if indeed true. Bet isn't
I'm also FSO PI and haven't heard of any layoffs, just a few jumping ship for something different (not always better). When it comes to a two star Senior vs Manager, I agree you chop both, but probably more like to keep the senior. An underperforming manager will have more of a negative impact on an engagement than an underperforming senior who is likely doing menial grunt work and not significantly impacting outcome of project or relationship w client. My senior is a solid 2* but I can pick up her slack and maintain solid relationship w client as a 5* manager. I'm not happy about it but it's what I gotta do
No. Troll
Has anyone personally been laid off at EY and posted it on FB? All these "I heard..." posts are useless
If they can't provide a sub probably a troll. Have heard nothing about layoffs and I've been keeping an ear to the ground
Senior's perform a wide variety of tasks, many far above their pay grade by filling manager-esque roles. Put that together with less pay and they have tons of value
I'm in FSO and haven't heard of any layoffs
Where's a concept of loyalty. what about people who contributed so much for 5 years who started to slow down a littlle as their family responsibilities went up recenrly
Troll then. Thanks for giving me a heart attack
This is scary!
There are no layoffs happening as of yet at EY, but I've heard rumors of short lists going around among practice leads of people to axe if FSO doesn't start bringing in enough revenue/projects to staff people
@OP same, you're a liar, no one I know has been fired. Sure raises are less than we hoped, but no one has been fired.
Office, practice, levels
Anybody else confirm layoffs at EY?
5x2, FSO, PI (8 seniors, 2 managers so far) probably a few senior managers too that I'm not aware of.
Between a manager with 2 and a senior with 2, who would get fired first ?
Whoever continues to underperform. All else equal, easier to underperform as a manager
Manager, higher cost. Best profit on seniors
@EY3 they would both be let go since I'm sure they're replaceable at that point.
@EY2 lets see if your skills are good enough to figure it out on your own, take initiative without me telling you to exceed expectations
Why so? Managers already demonstrated their stronger technical skills to be the manager and have been with the firm longer period of time. If i were a partner i would fire a senior first prove me wrong
