“[driver name] is hard of hearing” notification when booking an Uber/Lyft, then driver proceeds to have lovely conversation over blaring music. Since it happened a couple of times already, is there a chance they are not hard of hearing and are just exploiting some loophole in Uber/Lyft’s policies? Genuinely curious to either find out something new about hearing disabilities or figure out why you’d pretend to have one.

So I had my NIPT and NT scans last week and I’ve been getting pieces of the results back from my doctor in the patient portal. All seems okay but I’m a bit confused. Does anyone know if FirstScreen is the same thing as NIPT? I was under the impression that NIPT was in 90th percent of certainty for Down syndrome but the result we got, labeled FirstScreen indicate 83% certainty so I’m confused if there are more results coming? I messaged the doctor but haven’t heard back yet.

Can I just vent on how annoyed I am with the increase in “priority boarding” of people that are able bodied? I am happy to let them on first. But I think they should get off last. So many times they are limping or in a wheelchair boarding. And then when we land that are the first to jump up and scurry off. Just not ethical.
