I have a pretty passionate hate for those who have “no fault” divorces. These people can’t keep one single promise in their life even when they have the choice of anyone on an entire planet and are not forced one bit into a decision.

My SO told me he wanted to take a break and I told him that we should rather break up for good but never heard back from him. During the break, I met couple of guys and things happened. Now my SO wants to be back in my life and I told him what I have been up-to. I gave him the classic “But we were on a break” line and he got more upset. I don’t think our relationship is salvageable at this point. It feels so weird few months ago we were so madly in love and now we are in this situation.

Does your schedule really get more flexible once you’re promoted from senior associate to manager? Thinking about later on down the line when I have kids, won’t be sticking around if I’ll never get to spend time with my family. Honest opinions welcome.

Am I being too sensitive?

One group of friends I have are all white and they've been very insensitive to the asian hate that's going on lately. They kept saying it's overblown and how all of the videos they've seen are of non-whites attacking asians. I simply stated that I'm afraid for my parents because they're defenseless and they told me again that it's overblown and statistics don't lie.

It's pretty hurtful because racism is so real and I just don't understand the lack of compassion.
