Hi Fishes,
I recently got an offer for Cyber security advisory at PwC India . They gave a 20% hike on the current amount. Thing is that l, the technical interview told me that it is not a software/coding type of position and asked me multiple times if I was interested to do that. Is that a red flag?

I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

All consulting firms are not very strong in digital. Consulting doesn't have the culture that can attract and retain top tier engineers

The ones that do come in, get bosses around by people who only know PPT, and decide it’s not worth it and quit
Consulting will never be good at digital. Projects are not properly scoped, there is no technical talent in at the top ranks, there is a lack of a learning culture for developers, data scientists, and data engineers. That's why most everything that gets delivered by consultancies is PoC quality at best. From experience, when strategy partners are selling data science you are in for a miserable ride as a ds/de. I'm sure it applies to all of digital.
I'd add that there is a significant amount of value in working in the same code base over time which is antithetical to consulting.
