Ergonomic Wfh chair recommendations below $500?

What remote jobs are you all doing? Would love some insight. I've come to the conclusion that a gig with minimal social contact is honestly best for me so that I can listen to my music and concentrate essentially. I do IT consulting now and am in the market for a new job. My salary requirements are pretty low, and I have a pretty good resume imo. Any advice?

I am a 33 y/o single female that works in Louisiana for the state health dept. I really enjoy my job and the autonomy I have but am only making $55K/yr—however, I do not want to leave this job anytime soon due to being in the PSLF program. Negotiating pay with state government really isn’t a thing.

With all of this free time I have outside of my job that doesn’t bring much stress, I need help navigating a side hustle or remote job. (Continued in comments)

Has anyone in Canada done work for US remote employers? I think I’m okay without a visa to work in Canada physically, then would need one if I were to transfer over, but would love to hear someone’s experience

Im a contractor. Another firm has reached out for 100% remote work for basically a lateral move. I really like where I’m at right now. I’m remote but if I turn to FTE which is very possible later this year I would probably end up having to go in 1 or 2 days a week to NYC. My manager knows this is basically a dealbreaker for me. Should I let my manager know I have another firm reaching out but I really want to stay but I’d need to be a remote FTE? They mentioned several times I’m an asset.

I started full time at an agency mid pandemic so have never once worked in the office. I find myself working 50+ hour weeks even from home. Everyone who says "I can't wait to be back at the office" - are they really serious? To tack on commute time and public transit anxiety, wake up at the crack of dawn. Will working from the office somehow decrease the work load and increase productivity? Genuinely curious who wants to go back and why.

I am looking for an opportunity as a content writer and gives wfh as it will be easy for me to pursue aling with my PhD.

As a woman, I find the calls for Biden to name a Black woman VP and his pledge to select a woman very patronizing.
