Yes, but you should take the offer cause you can always boomerang back to Accenture and get a higher base than what’s expected from a homegrown manager.
For the love of all that is Holy, go to the startup. LEAVE THIS PLACE
Sorry, not understanding how your stocks are 25k options over 4 years but worth 80k currently?
Need more detail about the start up, it’s prospects for IPO/liquidity to really evaluate.
The offer definitely is higher in TC, but you’re risking a few things like rebuilding a network, possibly re-skilling for a new role, and other challenges that could delay your future comp growth for a year or more.
Also what of benefits? Accenture has solid 401(k) matching amongst other things. Start ups usually don’t. Happy to talk more about this if you DM me, currently evaluating offers and countering at Accenture too
Go to startup.
I’d take the start up offer if I was in your situation.
Take the offer and congrats! How do you find these startup companies? Serious question. Do you search on Inc? Techcrunch? Angelist? LinkedIn?
I updated my LinkedIn recently and got pinged by a couple of recruiters. That's how I got this offer.
Thanks all for your inputs
