McKinsey & Company I did my final round with McKinsey today, and I I received a rejection call from the partner today. However, he said I did really great and wants to keep in touch with me. He also mentioned that I should reapply in 6 months. Does anyone have any similar experience? Do I have a better chance if I reapply next time?McKinsey & Company

I just made the switch in August after agency layoff and it is SO much better brand side! I’m moving projects along at a comfortable pace vs what was expected agency side and people act like I’m walking on water. Refreshing to actually feel appreciated and like my work is adding value.
Hey! I just figured out how to get the message function to work. Will send you a message now!
Not at all. In fact, I would say the one of the biggest parts of the transition is unlearning a lot of that insane speed to match the pace of the company. Which at times can be frustratingly slow.
Way better. We do have busy times where we have to hustle (esp for specific sales seasons) but honestly never going to be at the speed of agencies and wayyyyy less pressure. I moved over to brand to retire 😴😆
For 11 years, I worked brand side. Similar experience to what you describe. Does your company have an in-house agency/studio? Do they/you need Sr Writer/ACD/CD writer help? If so, please DM me. Thx in advance.
Way better
Not at all. Isn’t that half the point in making the switch?
