Exit opps after a missed election run?

Currently in prep (alongside sponsors) to put forth election case for next year… elections in April, June 1 promo date, process starts in Nov.

Sales are solid past few years, increasing YoY, solid platform and room to expand. This yrs numbers have been a bit shakier - things aren’t closing and I might miss the target by 500k-750k (2M target).

Unlikely that this is the kiss of death, but want to prep - those who didn’t make it - what was your exit?

Thought on part time MBA at Georgetown? Do you like the program, did you feel it helped you post graduation, and where did you end up?

I’m currently a Grade 11 at Cisco. With the recent pay structure changes my annual comp will be $150k + 12% bonus. I live in a large metro area in the middle of the US. I’m looking to move around the company so that I can make commission but I don’t want to be an account manager. Can anyone tell me if there are Customer Success Managers, etc positions that manage customers post sale and have a similar range base as me with commission plans? I’m just trying to understand income potential.

T3 firm reached out re: direct admit to the partnership with some runway to grow the practice. I am at a firm now where there aren’t bright line metrics to make PPMD, but think I could make it in 2-5 years. This would be a step down in brand, but might be better from a WLB and getting to start at partner. Haven’t had firm comp talks yet but range was well north of 50% increase in cash comp from current (plus LT equity, draws, etc). Anyone take $ over brand? what are some traps to watch for?
