Tbh I’ve only ever been able to negotiate salary. Holding companies are not going to budge their PTO (which is usually unlimited), review cycles, or 401k matches especially for a junior employee.
Always go higher than you think. If they go lower (which they almost always do) see if you can meet in the middle (or round up a lil higher in your favor).
If you will be moving, I would try and negotiate relocation (salary + $5k relocation).
They’re all remote thankfully. I’ll take all of this into consideration!
I was once told “never give a range.” It will always be the bottom number. You want it to be that top number, so just say the top number. Let them tell you that’s too high.
CD2 any tips?
I would stick to just negotiating salary. Pto is typically the same for everyone at agencies, except for top level people.
agreed with AM1. “salary/title review” is just that. there’s no commitment to actually do anything.

If it’s an independent shop, a lot is negotiable (pay, pto, wfh, other misc perks like stipend for wifi and cell reimbursement) but if it’s owned by a holding company, there will be less flexibility.
The only reason to do the salary/title review by a certain date is if you’re coming in to a shop you love but taking a lower title than you’d like
How much salary wiggle room is there typically with junior roles?
