I can't imagine any firm would advance a bonus to an employee who quits...
No you would forfeit the bonus and any raise too.

Yeah PBBs are paid in August. Promo bonus not till first pay of oct eg oct 15
Not as an advance. They announce promotions in June and then put it in your pay roll to be paid out in oct, basically asking if anyone has quit at some point between June and oct 15 and still received it on oct 15
So what's the earliest date you think you could quit @EY2 ? Oct 16 once the money's in the bank

Don't worry about bridges. If your gut tells you should be somewhere else, then that where you should go.
OP would still get a promotion bonus from staff 2 to senior, that's the bonus I'm assuming they're referring to

No it's just verbally communicated and there's no t&cs or written policy around it
Interesting. Yeah, I always advocate for people to get their money, it's not like EY hesitated to slash our phone benefits
Be careful ab timing. Make sure $ is in hand before giving notice.
