@EY 1, I understand that I'm just confused by what you're saying exactly. I'm asking you that if what you're saying is if you are rated as a 4 your staff 1 year and if you're not rated as a 4 again your staff 2 year that everything will level out.
Idk how other service lines do it. What I said was for central assurance
if you get a 4 as staff 1 and 3 as staff 2, you will have less raise than other staff 2 who got a 3
Ok. So I got a 4. Basically you're saying I have to get a 4 again next year
OP if you are in central everyone gets the same rating in their staff 1 year so same raise. The only difference is gift card if you are higher performer
Do you mean all staff 2s are paid the same no matter their rating as a staff 1?

You should have already got your gift cards from engagements if you performed exceeding expectations. Unless your engagements are making no profit.
@EY3, interesting idk because I am on the federal side. And literally everyone in my practice is finding out their ratings this week and last week.
