Hi there, I’ve been told that Deloitte (London, UK) is going to make me an offer but haven’t heard back and it’s been over two weeks. The recruiter mentioned it would be around the “m2 grade”. Any idea what this pay range is? … I have 3 YOE working in NHS finance and have applied for a position in Risk Advisory, public sector. Curious what life at Deloitte is like? Does a work life balance exist?

Hey Fishbowl family - anyone working at EY-Parthenon that would be willing to chat with me about their experiences (with the potential of a referral)? I have total of 5 yoe specifically in Life Sciences and really would like to explore the potential of interviewing for their NY office. I have been able to land interviews/offers from other T2 firms but would really love to network and connect with EYP. EY EY-Parthenon

I’m in PwC FT; I’ve done zero implementation work. My work has been around people/process build/design and application/report rationalization—but not the technical build. A good portion of the group are definitely primarily working with implementations, but we’ve got a broader set of services than implementations.
The projects are generally around name brand clients, which makes the work more interesting through complexity. WLB is more so based on your ability to enforce your own boundaries IMO. Average actual hours for most is probably in the 45-55 range.
Are you talking epics/user stories and requirements gathering/workshop level or even more removed from actual implementation?
I work at ey fso FT - never done any ERP implementation work but have done lots of PMO for data remediation

Not fun at all unless you like doing ERP implementation work. Trying to leave but no one wants my experience in implementation
At Deloitte it’s the mixture of all three terms, but Finance Strategy was the name I think. Fancy way of saying ERP implementation. I left after 6 months.
Most implementation work these days are somehow disguised as “transformation” & we need to talk about it.
I’d love to talk about, but I’ve never worked for either. What else would “transformation” imply?
I’m not interested in ERP work because it can be an unending project, but I’ve never not thought there wouldn’t be at least some implementation work.
