Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.
Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

I work in US Tax and had an experience of 3 year. Had got an offer of 14Lpa in another big4,but still don't feel like continuing in US Tax. As taxation is something I do feel like I don't want to make a career anymore, because of work life balance & also as it specialised. Please suggest other option worthy to make a career shift. You guidance will be extremely helpful. My highest qualification is M.com.

Actually there can be many issues here
1) probably something you said in the interview which triggered the ego of the panelists 😅
2) they found some candidate whom they can hire on a much cheaper rate .(there is a high chance your salary in deloitte would be much higher compared to someone from TCS with same YOE) .
3) They found a candidate who could immediately join
Since they can't directly say any of the above reasons while rejecting they are inclined to say that you did not perform well in interview (assuming you Actually did great )
Also its good to get rejected in first round rather then hopelessly waiting for months for final round and then get rejected due to these reasons 😅
Btw from what I have experienced and seen its quite easy to switch within big4s and even if you screw up your interview really bad .. there is a high chance you will get selected just coz of your prior big 4 experience. But yes above 3 points also play an important role during selection
No meaning of 2nd point.... Do u ever think.... A candidate from TCS and a candidate with Big 4 experience.... Big candidate s skills are much more than any IT company employees.....
