I'm looking to find a job like the Forward Deployed Engineer role Palantir Technologies in the UK.
I have become hooked on finding a job that involves solving the kinds of problems they presented during their interviews. Although I got to the final round my performance anxiety got the better of me (I think I wanted the job a bit too much...). I will reapply after working in a similar company.
Is it "deep tech" / "data science" or "smart enterprise" that they're doing? Any advice welcome.
I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?

Most Partners I’ve seen have meh undergrads. Sounds like this one was compensating a bit
He was questioning me like crazy about it. I need the money but I would not allow some judgmental partner be my boss
The good thing with consulting firms is that he wouldn't really be your boss. Just avoid working with him.
Some people are elitist/tribal like that. Yeah, they're judging a stock based on its returns from a decade ago, it's irrational but it's deep rooted. Not everyone is that way though, so don't let one bad apple spoil the bunch.

Don’t care unless you have one?
This is not for every role. Go on their site and best believe most partners that probably that got an expensive undergrad may judge you especially as an experienced hire
I can totally relate to it.. my discussion started with where you were born and raised and then even all the schools I went to as a kid. !
