EY PTO... I'm so confused. 3 personal days + 22 days. That's 2 days a month earned every month except???

So dumb. Never worked for a company that made it this hard. Alright, better stop replying. About through with my $60 in data. :-P

our PTO policy and calendar is a racket

like

It absolutely is. EY1 I legit read everything and am still so confused

like

You don't accrue any pto in September.

like

EY4, y doesn't PTO align with either the fiscal year or calendar year. what gives?

like

Pto aligns with "vacation year" , guessing it was to originally have vacation expire before the calendar year ended (ie three months after October). Now that vacation can be carried over six months past January that may not make sense.

Sick days correspond to calendar year I believe.

Pto accrues on time basis that depends on your level. Staff level is 15 days, be happy you have more.

like

Aren't both seniors n staff 15 days? Think 5 years is 22

like

Vacation aligns with promo cycle so people jumping up to a new vacation schedule don't end up with a stray .333 days or something. Promo cycle is offset from bonus which is offset from fy end just to keep everyone from leaving the firm on 7/1.

like

I'm going to go ahead and assume it still hurts your utilization if you use the sick days. Can anyone confirm?

3 personal days are automatic. Can take those on first day of leave year. 22 days accrue every pay period. Schedule for those has never made sense to me either. Don't know why leave year starts in October either.

then they added this 80 hour family leave that I still do not know if it is good or bad yet. I really don't understand

What level and year are you op

^^^^^^ accurate ding ding

EY4. 💡 that makes sense.

Hi everyone,
I passed my PMP thanks to this sub group.
I have passed Above Target in the People section, and T in the other sections.
It was 95% situational questions.
Thave used AR's mock exams, and used my wrong answers to figure out my weakness and where I truly stand. I didn't purchase AR's course, just the mock exam simulator.
The 200 agile questions by David McLachlan were amazing, it really helped me in adapting to an agile mindset. TIA simulator n Joseph Phillip is useful.
