The pay/jobs themselves may not be anything special, but you’re not going to find the perfect job during the pandemic. I just put my notice in at Deloitte for a job that isn’t my dream job, but one with better pay, better hours, and new skills I can leverage into my future dream job I wasn’t getting at Deloitte in my current role. Don’t give up!

Don’t give up! I am and A2 in PwC and just accepted an offer and got 35% bump. There are opportunities out there and don’t give up!

Just keep interviewing something will show up! I got 11 months at pwc and went to F150 senior accountant role with 40% base bump

Any Bridge Engineers/Structural Engineers in here? I got my PE this year and have 5 YOE in TX + an MS. What sort of raise would you expect for receiving your PE working in a consulting firm? I am EOR on a number of structures in development, I manage EITs and Drafters (within projects; I'm not a supervisor), and am doing a lot in general. I'm at 78k currently, which is apparently still in the upper range of EIT salaries per a job posting in CO. I'm thinking of 15% (5% merit, 10% PE). Any ideas?

Hi SpEd Teachers, is anyone else facing EXTREME staff shortages as a result of state funding? We are not able to meet my students' IEP requirements (not even close) due to not enough paraprofessionals and the district flat out refusing to hire more. I've lost 70+ hrs/week of para hours over the past few years and my students are really suffering. This leaves our district open to lawsuits, but the real problem is the state's education budget. What can we do?? This isn't going to fix itself.

Hi,

Just started a new job less than a month ago in the tech sector. It was the industry I was fixated on when leaving for. However I realise that I don't think I can cope with the fast paced, lack of wlb, with no support - it's really impacting my mental health already....

I try to hide it from my boyfriend, but its impact is flowing into my personal life.
I feel like a failure, but recognise it might be beneficial to cut loss and quit. Has anyone been in this situation?

Any advice?

Change of industry from restaurant to CPG. Thoughts?

I have 2 years of experience in Financial Services External Audit. However am currently looking for exit opportunities, any suggestions?
