Hi fishes! I volunteer with The Art of Good, a creative collective helping small businesses affected by the pandemic. They are seeking a little help from a media professional. Need an SEM POV for a small business looking to change their name and relaunch their brand. This is non-paid. More about giving back while in-between gigs. :) If you can help out or want to learn more, please reach out to me via LinkedIN. Thank you!! www.linkedin.com/in/karenkohn/

In all seriousness, depends on the department and agency. Wear what makes you feel kick-ass - it's more important to be in your own skin
If it's hot out and not too short I wouldn't think twice about it.
I pretty much refuse to wear pants in summer so you get the answer
I have never worn a suit/pant suit to an interview. Always wear dresses- sometimes with a blazer if the dress is sleeveless
Agree with SVP 1 - have never worn pants to an interview. Dresses with heels make me feel confident, polished and professional, and that's what's most important in an interview.
People way overthink interview outfits.
shift dress all day...damn the pants
By the way don't listen to anyone here it you're a creative
Gotta say we ladies are more judgy on what we and other ladies wear than the guys are
Another vote for the shift dress. I interview people and wouldn't think twice about your attire.
Shift dresses are fine! Just make sure it's not too short. I'm all for a bit of leg but some of these dresses women are wearing 🙈
I wore a blazer recently and it felt way too formal
The only time I've ever questioned an interview candidate's outfit was when a girl wore a completely backless shirt with her bright pink bra completely visible. Even then, she ended up not progressing because her skills weren't there. Wear the damn dress, and good luck! 💁🏻
I think that it's perfect change from the typical blazer and slacks
Shift dresses are pretty common. I think you have to be careful with what you wear. I personally dont care too much, but I'll hear the snotty comments some of the ladies will make about people's appearances. Better safe than sorry.
I'd probably add a cardigan or a jacket, but it all depends on the dress. 👍🏻
Totally appropriate
