I had to leave the US before my lease ended due to visa reasons and subleased the apartment. I will be returning to the US on L1A shortly after the sublease ends (but before the term of the lease expires), could that jeopardize my return on L1A?

This one is for folks on h1b visa. So at time when you have an offer in hand(not accepted the offer yet and h1b transfer process not yet begun) while you are working with your current employer, do you even speak to your employer about your new offer to see if they make a counter offer?
Is there a risk involved with this approach assuming your current employer doesn't provide you with a counter offer and they ask you to leave immediately (and your h1b visa hasn't been transferred either)

I asked for $135K for a managerial position in govt sector at KPMG and I think I lowballed myself by putting that number on the application. If I receive am offer can I ask for more ? They never gave me a range but I feel like govt sector at all these firms is lower pay but that's my wheelhouse.
