Currently working on plan C of a honeymoon as we don’t expect to be able to go Europe in June/July as hoped. Plan A and B were variations of Italy (relax) and Spain (mountain biking). Hoping to use bonvoy points. Any US centered suggestions? Maybe refocusing on golf/warmth/spa/food now.

Talked to SO about wanting more effort from him, he said he believes in giving what he is receiving & doesn’t chase. However I like to be pursued and feel wanted. Is this a situation of just wanting different things? Or should I start putting in more effort to pursue him and see if it’s reciprocated?
Question for Deloitte H1b folks - are we allowed to take LOA on our visa? What are the procedures? Thanks in advance.

Any recs on finding a good tutor for GMAT? Should I look a different place for quant vs. verbal tutors, or are there tutors that can help with both? Also, is it realistic to think I can get someone for $150 an hour, or is that too low? Lastly, how many tutoring sessions do you think are necessary to reap the benefits? (Lots of Qs, sorry!) For context, am considering using a tutor specifically to help tighten up weak points between my 1st and 2nd sitting

Submitted a resume to a recruiter for a job last Monday. They called me within 2 hours and asked to schedule a phone call. The call went well, and they sent me all the necessary paperwork they need me to sign. I signed it within the hour and sent them an email saying I’m looking forward to working with them. Haven’t heard anything back since then. Is that weird? Does the recruiter actually think I am a good fit for the role? She sent me the name of the company and everything.
Has anyone ever had a fundamental difference in opinion with their SO on something important to them? E.g. Getting my MBA is important to me but he sees it as a childish dream. Thoughts?
Hi 🐠, need some advice. Was told by my manager that time doing research (for info related to my client) is not client billable and has to be charged to the overhead code. This strikes me as fundamentally wrong, esp bc this is a flat rate project so the hours will just affect my utilization / internal metrics, not how much the client is billed. I asked for a non-billable code that counts towards utilization but was told my utilization is fine even though I’d be billing <40hrs & to use OH code
Is it bad (reputation/resume etc.) to leave a firm less than a year in for a state court clerkship in NY appellate court? Struggling at the firm (drowning in work and no guidance) and looking for WLB and happiness.
