Slalom, I worked there for 4 years and would recommend it. You’ll likely get a significant pay bump coming in as well - just don’t expect good YOY raises
Nope. It totally depends on what role you are hired into but your equivalent would likely be 120-155, if I had to guess.
Slalom! Big presence in Chicago. Strong WLB and culture. Tradeoff being less comp vs. MBB and Big 4.
No Ms at Slalom. Pay bands are still huge, hard to tell comp without knowing your background. Still, you'd likely take a salary cut but wage increase.
Also in Chicago and joined west monroe after years of working for several large firms. Love it here and can honestly say it's the best place I've ever worked. Great wlb and fantastic people/culture. Happy to chat more if you're interested
Honestly I rarely spend more than 40 hours a week working on a project. Every now and then there will be an uptick but I've never had to put in more than 50
Rising Star
Boutiques can be amazing. But typically need some specialized expertise.

Any specific suggestions for Chicago? I've got experience across technogy operating models, technology strategies focused on creating new busines models / offerings, enterprise agility, and various other traditional technology strategy areas (capability assessments, roadmap development, etc.). Transparently, I don't have much technical depth (since I've worked more on the functional side) so the technical route likely isn't feasible for me.
Booz Allen Hamilton generally has great WLB, and they have a cyber-only commercial group, also. It's pivoted into more a tech-consulting firm the last few years so might be an option to consider. I loved my time there.

Ah nice, didn't know they were expanded into commercial. Unfortunately, I don't have much of a cyber background, but hopefully it's a helpful suggestion for others who see this thread - thanks!
Point B
Depends on level and area of the firm. In some areas they’re on par with big 4.
