Folks - I have been constantly thinking to relocate from central NJ (wwp schools) to PA (maybe doylestown,Malvern,Downingtown) area.
Top@3 reason 1) New homes and comparably cheaper , little less tax 2) Freshman kid still can move else next year will be next to impossible 3) Better options for universities in PA specially.

For me, commute is not a problem as need airport.(I have also thought about Texas ,VA and Delaware)
Please share your experience or point of view.
Thanks

School district rankings vary wildly across those options, something to consider as your kid starts highschool as well.

I live in New Hope, feel free to DM me if you have questions.

The schools out here are amazing if you have kids

When you have to travel into the city it’s not too bad, but I’m at Newark airport right now traveling so it’s definitely doable

Thanks TD1 -we checked New Hope but there’s hardly any availability of homes. What other towns would you recommend?

Any EU attorneys who went for an LL. M. in international commercial law (or other) in Europe?

If so have you found it "worth" the year of your time? I am currently working at a firm that specializes mostly on commercial law and has a lot of foreign clients. I have some options regarding the possible LL. M. One of them is little less prestigeous that would allow me to stay working at law firm as I am studying. The other would mean taking a year off work and pursuing the LL. M, Thanks for help

Wondering what people think about my situation. I’ve been offered a role with a company. The job description didn’t mention college degree as a requirement. On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). It’s a 4 year degree and under this I have my High School equivalent with the years I attended there. The education wasn’t mentioned in the interviews. Continued below.

Does anyone have any recommendations of career coaches or where to begin to research legit ones? So I’m planning on leaving my position before school starts, but the application and interview process has been slow. At this point I’m afraid I won’t find a job until late July. Should I let my school now and let them post my job as an anticipated position? I’d hate for them to have to find someone last minute, but I also want to keep that school as a fall back just in case. Unfortunately, it’s a terrible position and there has not been a lot of interest in it in the past.

I exited to FAANG from big4 and part of me is seriously thinking about getting an mba to go to mbb. Does that make any sense?

I'm early in my career, managed to save $30K to invest, and want to get my hands dirty with a rental property without too much risk (e.g. no HML/flipping). It sounds like that's a tall order in the NY/CT area given the prices, not to mention whether I'd be able to get a mortgage on anything below $100K, but I figure I'll give it a shot anyway. Any advice on what you might do in my position? Am I being crazy with this idea?
