In terms of WLB I think I had better WLB at PwC but not by much. In terms of culture, I think Accenture has PwC beat there. I will also say it’s group dependent.
I can refer you to Accenture.
Not sure but apparently we pay more. Had an offer at Accenture and the pay was like 13k less than what I make now 🤷♂️
jumped to ACN right before COVID hit the US.
I think all top consulting firms such as the big 4 and mbbs are very much the same in terms of WLB. I really didn't see any difference between Deloitte and Accenture.
Thanks. If it’s the same then it all comes down to 💰 at the end of the day
Switched from PwC SAP practice to ACN SAP. WLB is so much better than Pdubs. Pay is more too. I don't miss the happy hour at as I get quality time at home. Just joined few months back and had been asking for RFP work. Was told not to worry as if I am in a client project then working more than 8 hrs does not make sense. It was shocker for me. Took some weeks to get adjusted to this culture. Again this is for days where I am not putting out fires in project.
Not related, but I am looking at a potential role in the Tech Strategy - Enterprise Architecture (TMT industry) in PwC - how is WLB in PwC?
Thanks for the feedback OP!
Went from B4 Deloitte to Accenture. The switch was for Government consulting so client work as always is simple and basic. Great WLB. The difference is that at Accenture you don’t have to do any business development or +1 activity. It isn’t required at all. At Deloitte there was a big push to be involved on proposal work in addition to mandatory initiative work.
Within my group at ACN, you won't get promoted if you are not doing +1 work so ymmv
